Nayanthara and Jyotika Box-Office war!
Lady Superstar Nayanthara had got three movies featuring her released this year, and while Mr. local co-starring Siva karthikeyan and the KM Sarjun directorial Airaa were colossal disasters, only the pongal release Thala ajith starrer Viswasam was a blockbuster.
Nayanthara's fourth release of the year Kolaiyuthir Kaalam was announced to be released in june but the film met with a court stay after a person who holds rights for sujatha novel of the same name claimed and after resolving the issues the team announced a July 26 release.
But now it has been made official Kolaiyuthir Kaalam has again been postponed and the chakri toleti directorial also starring Bhumika and Prathap Pothen will be released on august 1 clashing with Jyotika starrer Jackpot which is slated to hit screens on august 2. Now again, both are meeting towards christmas and sankranthi release. Both are female-centric projects and are yet-to-be-titled and in various stages of production.
