Thor Ragnarok was the third installment in the Thor series, released last year, following Thor (2011) and Thor: The Dark World (2013), and was the seventeenth film of Marvel Cinematic Universe.  Directed by Taika Watiti, who had previously directed films like Boy and What We Do in The Shadows, the superhero movie starred Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins.

Thor Ragnarok was scripted, inculcating elements of the 2006 comic line in "Planet Hulk", bringing together Hulk and Thor, with Mark Ruffalo continuing his Hulk act from earlier Marvel flicks. The movie has Thor confronted by Hela, his sibling, who destroys Thor's Mjolnir, takes over Asgard, sending Thor into space, and leading to his landing in Sakaar. It is in Sakaar that Thor gets to meet his old buddy Hulk, during a Contest of Champs organized by the Grandmaster, the ruler of Sakaar. Now, Thor has to make Hulk realize what brought him there, and join hands with him to ultimately war Hela and win back all that he lost, with Ragnarok to his aid.

The film had Chris Hemsworth back as Thor, but this time with the never before seen humor angle added to his action hero characterization, that gave a unique color to his character, and together with Tom Hiddleston's crooked act as the forever trickster Loki and Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, guaranteed genuine laughs for the viewers. While Cate Blanchett stunned with her menacing act as Hela, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie was impressive with her pretty looks.

With spectacular visuals and stunning VFX shots, Thor Ragnarok was the perfect visual treat with loads of action and humor in the right proportion that any Marvel fan would crave for, ultimately making the movie a big winner for Marvel and Walt Disney, as well as Taika Watiti , who made a grand entry into Marvel Cinematic Universe with the movie. Made on a whopping budget of 180 million, the film was a huge blockbuster at the box office, grossing more than $850 million, becoming the highest grosser among Thor films, and the 9th highest grosser of 2017.  Take a look at the MAKING OF THOR RAGNAROK stills below,
