Here's the list of top 10 Best Tamil films with the 'SUPER HIT' status (In order of release)

Singam 3

The movie which should have been a 2016 release got delayed due to unexpected events and finally, it got released by January. This is the first 'Super Hit' in Kollywood and the movie ended as a profitable venture

Maanagaram

Sudeep Kishan and Regina got the biggest hit after facing some Box-Office duds in Telugu. This is totally a Sleeper Hit. Debut Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has done a meaty job and his writing has done wonders at the Box-Office!

Kavan

Vijay Sethupathi is at his best and KV Anand has taken a hit against the Channels which focus on TRP ratings. Hip Hop Tamizha's Music was a big strength. 

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion

'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' is the biggest hit of the decade and the movie already crossed several records. The movie dominated Box-Office in all the languages it released. 

Vikram Vedha

Husband-Wife combo Pushkar and Gayatri have clearly bounced back after a huge flop. This movie is a perfect example of a tight screenplay and flawless writing. Vijay Sethupathi and Madhavan combo are to be cherished! 

Meesaya Murukku

This is the debut of Music composer Aadhi and this is also a Semi-biopic. The movie worked out mainly due to the humor and the emotions. This got released along with 'Vikram Vedha' and still, it tasted a huge success!

Vivegam

Easily one of the Blockbusters in 2017! Despite negative reviews spread by Paid critics and media, this movie rose up and entered as a profitable venture. Ajith who tasted success with Director Siva is joining hands again for the fourth time and just like Producer AM Ratnam, Satya Jyoti Films are also producing another movie with the same combo.

Aramm

Gopi Nainar gave a tight slap to all those who thought AR Murugadoss never stole his story. Kudos to Lady Superstar Nayantara for accepting such a movie. In fact, no other can act in such a role! The movie got praises from all quarters.

Theeran Athigaaram Ondru

The perfect blend of Realism and Commercial elements. H.Vinod has proved that he is not a One Movie Wonder. Rakul Preet who suffered losses from 'SPYder' also got a new phase of life due to this. 

Velaikkaran

Mohan Raja is back after the Mindblowing 'Thanioruvan'. The movie takes a hit against the corporate companies and more than an entertainer, it is an eye-opener. Fahad Fazil's performance has been exceptional.
