Can Naga Chaitanya or Allari Naresh stop ARJUN REDDY this Weekend? An Analysis

SIBY JEYYA
This weekend, Tollywood is all set to witness an interesting contest, though low on hype and hope, as two interesting flicks are making way to silver screens this Friday. They are the Nag Chaitanya starrer Yuddham Sharanam and Allari Naresh starrer Meda Meeda Abbayi.

While Yuddham Sharanam stars Lavanya Tripathi as Chay's romantic interest and has Revathi and Rao Ramesh playing his parents, Srikanth plays a deadly villain in this flick directed by Debutant Krishna Marimuthu. Meda Meeda Abbayi is the official Telugu remake of Malayalam superhit Oru Vadakkan Selfie that had Nivin Pauly in the original. While Director Prajith who made the original makes his debut in Telugu, the makers have roped in debutant Nikhila Vimal to reprise Manjima Mohan's role.

While Chay has been comparatively in a better position thanks to decent commercial success of Premam and Rarandoi Veduka Chudam, Naresh is in the weakest phase of his career with almost no hits for 5 years. As Chay searches for that elusive action hit and Naresh searches for that long pending decent success, it is to be seen if Yuddham Sharanam or Meda Meeda Abbayi can stand tall against the mighty Arjun Reddy who has been rock solid at the box office at the moment.
