The Akkineni princess Samantha got her big breakthrough in Tollywood with her extremely loveable act as Jessie in classy maker Gautham Vasudev Menon's Ye Maaya Chesave opposite Nag Chaitanya. However, very few know that the gorgeous Sam had made her film debut as a heroine with a hero who's yet to make an impact.

Samantha made her debut with the Tamil flick Moscowin Kaveri, directed by renowned cinematographer Ravi Varman in his directorial debut, and the film had her paired with none other than Singer Chinmayi's husband Rahul Ravindran. The film turned out to be a disaster, and Sam took the Tollywood route to success, while Rahul went on to play strong supporting roles and second fiddle roles in Tamil and Telugu flicks like Vanakkam Chennai, Srimanthudu, Tiger, Andala Rakshasi to name a few.
Now, the pretty Actress is all set to join hands with Rahul, but this time it's not for a movie together, but for the launch of title and first look poster of Rahul Ravindran's upcoming flick directed by Ram Abbaraju. The shooting of this flick has been wrapped up, and Rahul has swiftly moved to his next, which is gonna be his directorial debut.
