A Bhind-based young man who earned only Rs 7,000 in 2011–12 is being requested to pay a penalty. He is charged with a deal worth Rs. 132 crores.

According to the report, the notice was sent to ravi Gupta for the first time in the year 2019 by the IT department. Even then it was asked to pay a penalty of Rs 3.49 crore for a transaction of Rs 132 crore. In the bank account opened with the help of ravi Gupta's PAN card, a diamond firm had made a transaction of Rs 132 crore three times. Once 95 crores, the second time 47 crores and the third time transaction of 25 lakh rupees. prime minister Narendra Modi's office started an investigation after the news of the notice received by ravi Gupta for this transaction was published in the media.

The investigation of this matter was handed over from the Prime Minister's office to the Union Ministry of Finance, which through the bank OF INDIA' target='_blank' title='reserve bank of india-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">reserve bank of india (RBI) directed the concerned bank to conduct the investigation. The concerned bank had given a clean note to Gupta in its report. Despite this, the data-faceless system of the IT department has again issued a notice to ravi Gupta on 28 March.
