Cardless cash withdrawal in ATM - new guidelines?...
Now RBI has taken a big decision to improve the banking services of the country. RBI has now brought a new facility for customers to withdraw cash, regarding which RBI has also issued guidelines to banks. Under this new facility, customers will be able to withdraw cash from ATM even without a debit card.
RBI issued guidelinesActually, now the RBI has clearly said about its new service that in order to give better facilities to the customers, now the facility of withdrawing money from ATMs of all banks will be given without debit card or credit card.It is worth noting that some banks are currently offering the facility of cardless cash withdrawal, but customers can do this only from their bank's ATM. This facility is not available when withdrawing money from ATMs of other banks. Also, not all bank ATMs have this facility. But now this will happen soon and this service will become easier for the customers.

No other charges will be levied other than the interchange fee and customer fee already prescribed. With this, the withdrawal limit for cardless transactions will be the same as for regular ATM withdrawal. This means that the amount of cash withdrawn from the card at present will remain the same limit in cardless transactions. In case of failure of the transaction, the rule of compensation will be applicable as before.
