Income Tax Return: According to the Ministry of Finance, this is the third time when the deadline for filing income tax returns has been extended for the financial year 2020-21 (The assessment Year 2021-22).
Income Tax Return: The government has extended the deadline for several compliances including the filing of Income Tax Return (ITR) for the assessment year 2021-22.
The government has once again extended the deadline for filing income tax returns for the financial year 2020-21 till march 15, 2022.
The Finance Ministry said that the decision has been taken after considering the difficulties raised by the taxpayers and other stakeholders due to the COVID situation of various audit reports under the Income Tax Act, 1961.
Also, the last date for submission of the audit report under any provision of the act for the 2020-2021 and transfer pricing audit report has also been extended till february 15, 2022.
Within february 15, 2022, all should proffer the statement by persons entering into international transactions and specified domestic transactions beneath bureau 92E for the year 2020-21.
