The EPFO, or Employees Provident Fund Organization, has extended the deadline for electronic nominations. "EPFO account holders can still add heirs through the e-nomination feature after december 31," EPFO announced in a social media post. According to EPFO rules, filing an e-nomination is required. This is because it makes it easier for heirs to claim and receive future deposit, pension, and insurance benefits after a member's death by allowing them to do so online.

E-nomination has been recommended by the Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) to its account holders. After december 31, account holders can add heirs via the website's 'e-Nomination' feature. It was previously reported that the deadline would be extended until december 31. When users sought to change the heir details in their PPF account on the EPFO website, the portal crashed.

You can add a nominee by clicking on "Membership UAN / Online Service" for services and Employees on the EPFO website. Employees Provident Fund (EPF) account holders in india must add a nominee by december 31. If this is not done, employees will lose a variety of perks. In the event of a subscriber's unexpected death, only nominated members have access to EPF savings. Subscribers can nominate several nominees and specify the proportion of the prize pool that each nominee will receive.
