The sooryavanshi actor continued by describing how his character in the movie is distinct: "I've played various roles during my career, but oddly enough, I haven't appeared in a movie that highlights this unique brother-sister relationship—a relationship that is so real and universal. In reality, I don't believe our industry produces many films of this nature. I got to attempt something new in that sense."

There were rumours last month that Athiya and rahul will wed within the next three months. According to a family source reported in an indian Today article, the families of the famous couple recently got together, and elaborate plans for their wedding are in the works.

Athiya made her bollywood debut in hero opposite Sooraj Pancholi. Even Suniel, her father, had addressed these rumours by telling Radio mirchi that "Nothing has been arranged yet."
