A shocking incident has come to light in Liuzhou city of southern China. Here a man got trapped on the roof of his two-storey house in flood water. He was constantly shouting for help, but the flow of water was so fast that the rescue boats could not reach him. Meanwhile, his neighbor, Lai, extended his hand towards him for help. He carried out the rescue mission with his agricultural drone. Agricultural drones are usually used to spray bricks, cement or pesticides and can lift up to 100 kg.

Sand sack and safety buckle became life-saving harness

Lai tied a sack full of sand to the drone's rope and made a temporary harness by attaching a safety buckle to it. Then he flew the drone to the trapped man and instructed him over the phone to sit on the sack and tie his hands and feet to the rope with the safety buckle.

It was clearly seen in the video that the drone flies at a height of 65 feet and hangs the person trapped in the flood andtakes him between trees and electric poles and lands him on a safe road. This video is going viral on social media.

'Illegal' but saving life was important

Lai said that he learned to fly a drone in August. He admitted that what he did was illegal, because carrying a human is against the rules of drones. But at that time his first priority was to save the life of that person. He told beijing News, "I know it is illegal, but I was afraid that the house would collapse, so I decided to save. I do not advise anyone to repeat this."

Water level of 13 rivers in china crossed the danger mark

Amidst this incident, China's Ministry of Water Resources has said that due to continuous heavy rains in Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi and Hainan provinces, the water level of 13 major rivers has reached above the warning level. Government television has described this situation as serious.
