A shocking news has come from china, where a woman narrowly escaped even after falling from the 12th floor and started calling her husband for help. This shocking incident has happened in south-eastern China. The 44-year-old woman not only survived even after falling from the 12th floor, but even after falling to the ground, she managed to call her husband for help. According to the report of the South china Morning Post, this story is of Peng Huifang, a factory cleaner from Leping in Jiangxi province.

The accident happened while sealing the balcony

This incident happened on May 13, 2025, when Peng was helping her husband, who runs a window business, to seal a client's balcony. She thought she was in a safe place inside the house and away from the balcony, so she jumped wearing a safety rope and this step proved almost fatal.

While a crane was being used to lift a heavy window weighing several hundred kilos to the 12th floor, the glass panel reportedly got caught in a tree branch, causing the window to fall and dragging the crane with it. Peng, who was holding the crane's remote control, was pulled out of the building.

'Didn't feel any pain'

Peng's life was saved by an awning that protected her from the fall. Peng said she didn't feel any pain and managed to call her husband.

'I'm not dead yet, call 120'

Peng was rushed to Nanchang university Affiliated Hospital, where doctors performed surgery to treat multiple fractures, including injuries to her right leg, left foot and lower back. Doctors expect her to be able to walk fully within six months.
