Fake ghee was being sold at Rs 340 per kg under the name Rudransh brand. Surprisingly, the slogan on the box of this ghee was also written to take care of health, while this fake ghee is being said to be completely harmful for health. According to the information, the raid by the Food Department has revealed that this black market is connected with Indore as well as another state Rajasthan. Its sample has been taken for investigation.

How was Rudransh brand ghee being sold at Rs 340 per kg?

According to the officials of the Food Department, if real ghee is prepared, then at least Rs 500 is spent by the trader himself. After this, if they sell it by adding profit, then it is difficult to see real ghee in the market at a price less than Rs 600 per kg. In such a situation, questions are being raised that how was the ghee of Rudransh brand being sold at Rs 340 per kg.

150 kg of ghee recovered in raid at Mahavir Kirana store

When the Food Department raided a store named Mahavir Kirana in the religious city of ujjain, 150 kg of ghee was recovered. It is being told that this ghee had reached ujjain from rajasthan via Indore. Food Department official Basant Sharma, while giving information during a conversation with ABP News, said that a sample of Rudransh ghee has been taken.

Ghee sample will be tested

The Food Department official has expressed apprehension that apart from milk fat, it also contains other fats. Its sample is also being sent. According to the Food Department officials, now Indore District Administration is also being informed about this.

Fake ghee prepared in Alwar, Rajasthan!

Rudansh ghee also had the FSSAI license of the Central Government. Officials said that this ghee was being prepared in Alwar, Rajasthan. From there it reached ujjain via Indore. The shop's operator Rajendra Jain says that he has been selling this ghee for a year.
