Senior Journalist Ruman Hashmi asks whether it is possible to achieve this level of per capita income? According to Oxford, India's GDP will have to grow at a rate of at least 8 percent every year from 2023, so that india can become a developed nation by 2047. Whereas, the data shows that the country has never achieved this growth rate. India's GDP grew by only 7.7 percent in 2023, which is more than India's 6.5 percent in 2022.
