As the online delivery service is increasing day by day in india, the company in the quick commerce segment is continuously introducing many new services. As the discussion about NIGHT LIFE in india has increased in many states now, to compensate for this, swiggy has become the first company in india to extend the delivery time of its Instamart service till dawn. It is expected that most companies will announce such a service soon as it is seen as an initiative.
India's leading food and grocery delivery service company swiggy is planning to extend the delivery service of its Instamart platform throughout the night. Similarly, it is said that this project is to be tested in a few selected cities only. The swiggy company, which is run by investment from japan Softbank, has received 16 times more orders from the swiggy Instamart platform in the 12 months up to June. Similarly, swiggy Instamart has received the most traffic from Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
In this case, swiggy Instamart already provides service in 25 cities of the country from 7 am to 1 pm, now it has announced that it is going to expand the delivery service to around 3 am in some cities. As already mentioned, this 3 PM delivery is available only in some major cities.
In this regard, the swiggy spokesperson said that in accordance with the municipal regulations, we are working with swiggy stores and delivery partners to create a framework to deliver around 5000 items (food items, snacks, emergency service items) up to 3 am and are implementing it only in some cities.
In this case, Dunzo, funded by reliance Industries and Y Combinator, is developing a 24X7 delivery system in some cities, similarly, Zepto has announced that it will deliver within 1 hour in 10 cities.
