People who work sitting in front of a computer all day do not need to go directly to the office to work amid the Covid-19 pandemic. This pandemic has shown us that work from home (WFH) can be done at home. While many companies are still offering the WFH option to their employees as the spread of corona infections continues to decrease and rise from time to time, a few companies are interested in getting employees back to the office directly and hiring.
The CEO of a company who thought he had to get employees to come to the office and buy work somehow, has been sternly telling his employees that if you want to work from home go to work somewhere else, don't come here. Disgusted by his response, the staff left the company, as he said, and gave him trauma treatment. An employee of the unnamed Food Delivery App on Reddit, a social media site, shared information about this. And that employee has said employees are not ready to return to the office amid a pandemic.
That guy worked for a while last year as a team leader on one of the app development teams at Food Delivery Apps. His entire team had been working from home since the infection started and there were only people on their team who preferred the remote-only option. They all continued to work through the WFH from far away to be in the office. They thought the same situation would continue as it is not currently possible for the infection to leave the world completely.
But his company's senior team decided to put all the staff back in the office first part-time and then gradually do the full-time job in the office. As well as saying that the return to work policy will be flexible for us when they join the workforce. Their team also had employees who lived far away from where the office was. So they were all confused. Employees who work remotely are not happy about the company’s decision as they do not want to move their entire family elsewhere. During a question and answer session, one of the employees told the CEO that they were in a situation where they could not change their place of residence. That guy said that the company will be flexible to suit them because there are a lot of people like them. It was a shock to all of them to immediately say to that CEO who was tough right away.
