Parenting tips: Never use negative words on children??


Parents should never use words that could affect a child's confidence. Children will be attentive to all the things that happen around them and are heard. They learn everything from others and never fail to notice even the smallest things. Children will begin to follow some of the things they notice in everyday life. Since they start with the words that parents use at home, parents need to speak the most careful words before the children. Negative words, obscene words, etc. should be avoided completely. Teach children what to do, rather than what not to do.

Negative words: As already mentioned some of the negative words used by parents can be the starting point for the formation of negative thoughts in children. Ex: follow my rules, lazy, finish your homework or else you will not get food etc.


Words to use: The words mentioned above will have a negative tone when spoken. Instead, use words that have a positive intent. When they think they have to play freely, children will think they have to act against your words if commanded. Kindly say, you get the attitude you expect from them. For example, you might say, ‘Even though the game is played today, do you sit well? Although these words have the same meaning, the attitude and manner of speaking should be kind.

Avoid cursing or using obscene language:

Parents should never use words that could affect a child's confidence. You do not know the words you use. But, it will give them severe stress. They will start looking for ways to follow the wrong paths. Good deeds should be appreciated. Failure should be embraced and encouraged.


Things to know: Those who use good words will always be happy and approach life positively. Their children will be raised the same way. Thus forming a circle of good friends, there will be no enemies. You can see honesty, love, and affection in your children. They will definitely not do any act of pulling for respect when you use good words.
