The government has started a vaccination drive for 15 to 18-year-old children. It is clear from the statistics that people are coming out of their homes and taking children to get the vaccine. Don't get confused about it at all. Yes, some side effects can be seen after vaccination but do not get upset because of them. These symptoms are mild and parents need not panic about it. Along with this, also know that the effect will not be visible immediately after the first dose. After 4 weeks of the first dose, the second dose will be taken and after 4 weeks the immunity will start to form.

According to experts, some possible side effects of vaccination were seen in people in the age group of 18 and 60 plus and they may also be seen in children but there is no need to panic. These mild side effects show that the vaccine has started working.

1- In the hand where the vaccine has been applied, there may be red marks and pain. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), place a cool, soft cloth over the vaccination area to reduce the redness and pain of vaccination.

2- There may be slight fainting after vaccination. To avoid this, sit or lie down for about 15 minutes after vaccination.

3- Children may have a mild fever after vaccination. For this, take medicine on the advice of the doctor.

4- After getting the vaccine, children may also have problems with fatigue and body pain. According to the CDC, let the child has to take rest and give them plenty of fluids. However, avoid giving packaged liquid things.

5- Some children may feel dizzy after vaccination. However, this is not a side effect of applying the vaccine. This happens when children take the vaccine on empty stomach, so keep in mind that children do not go to get the vaccine on empty stomach. Apart from this, many other symptoms can also be seen. If you feel that these symptoms are not mild, then contact the doctor immediately.
