Akbar-Birbal Stories::TRUTH AND ALIE
Akbar asked Birbal ”What is the difference between a lie and truth?”
Birbal answered “The same as there is between an ear and an eye.”
Akbar asked “How can you say that?” Birbal said promptly,
“My Lord, what eyes see is the truth and what ears hear can be a lie”.
Akbar was impressed with his reply and smiled.
