The Wolf's Death

cheruku raja
A wolf had found out a farm near the jungle. Many sheep and cattle were kept there in sheds and pens. He tried many times to get a sheep to eat but the shepherd's servants never let him get to the sheep's. One Day the wolf found a sheep skin. So the wolf thought of a plan. That evening the wolf covered himself in the sheep skin. Then he stealthily entered the sheep’s pen. He was sure that night he would have a fat sheep for dinner. That evening the shepherd had some guests for the dinner. He asked his cook to fetch a sheep from the pen and cook it for dinner. The cook went into the pen. As it was late in the evening, it was dark in the pen. The cook could not see clearly. He just picked the wolf in the sheep skin and cut its head in the dark. Thus, the wolf had met a sorry end. That night, the shepherd’s guests ate a delicious dinner little realizing that they were having the poor wolf’s meat. Moral : Bad intentions meet bad ends
