Lack of snowfall is causing tension among the residents..?

In an interview with a television channel, Dr. R.K. Singh, the head of the meteorological department and chief meteorologist at Govind Ballabh pant Agricultural university in Pantnagar, responded to a question by saying that the Mediterranean Sea's current temperature rise is a result of El Nino. Nor are disturbances emerging in the west.

You now know what is meant by Western Disturbance. Actually, tropical storm winds from the west enter the indian subcontinent through Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Iran. As a result, the steep regions see snowfall and rain from november through February.

According to Dr. rk Singh, between november and February, four to five western disturbances are created on average per month. In the hilly states of Uttarakhand, Kashmir, and Himachal, this results in snowfall and rain. In the hilly states, this results in a decrease in daytime and nighttime temperatures. But this time, western disturbances aren't forming because of El Nino. As a result, the hilly states are not experiencing the proper seasons for snowfall and rain, which is why the temperature is dropping.

Due to the absence of snowfall, there will be a water problem.

IMD director Mukhtar ahmed in srinagar told ANI in a statement that the valley may data-face serious problems come summertime if there isn't any snow this year. This is because the glaciers won't be replenished by little or no snowfall, which will cause them to melt quickly. He warned that the ice rivers will eventually begin to dry up if things stay this way for the ensuing years.
