Alert!Digital Eye strain: What is it? Cause...

Imagine turning down the lights and checking your phone before going to bed, but all of a sudden you are unable to see. This information is for anyone who uses their phone to check Facebook, Instagram, or whatsapp before bed. Imagine being unable to see because you turned off the lights, checked your phone, and then tried to go to sleep.

This actually took place. This was the 30-year-old Hyderabadi woman's daily schedule. One night, all of a sudden, she had trouble seeing, not only the phone but anything else. Computer Vision Syndrome is the label given to this issue by doctors.

Estimates from the AIIMS Ophthalmology Department claim that even in school-aged youngsters, light levels are progressively declining as a result of their fixation on mobile devices. At the 2015 AIIMS assessment, 10% of schoolchildren were found to have myopia, but by 2050, almost 40% of youngsters in india would have the condition. Nearby objects are plainly apparent whereas distant objects are hazy with this illness.

What causes this, do you know?

Parents frequently warn their children not to watch tv up close at home.

Eyesight will deteriorate. In fact, if you repeatedly fixate on nearby objects for an extended period of time, such as a phone, book, or tv screen, your ability to see clearly in the distance starts to deteriorate.

You can see how serious the issue would have gotten if even the prime minister of india had to recommend that kids limit their screen usage.

PM Modi recently suggested that kids cut back on their screen usage during the Mann Ki Baat event.

But it's not only a matter of kids. Most individuals cite the justification that having a mobile phone has become vital because of their jobs, but a survey conducted by a manufacturer of mobile phones is revealing everyone's secrets.
