How do vaccines work? How are vaccines made?

To avoid any major disease or virus occurring in the body, we get a vaccine. Vaccine develops the power to fight disease by increasing immunity in our body. Although the discussion on the vaccine has been going on for a long time, but after the Coronavirus, more talk started about the vaccine. Let us understand today how the vaccine is applied in the body and what is the process of its working after entering the body.

As soon as the vaccine enters the body, the body makes antibodies so that the virus cannot harm the body. An immune system is developed in the body, which is helpful in the prevention of the virus. The antibody that is formed after the vaccine does not allow that virus to enter again and eliminates the disease. There are different types of vaccines available for diseases.

What is Vaccine and How does it Work?

Worldwide, the vaccine is administered in three ways – by injection, by placing drops of the medicine in the mouth, and by incisions or scratches on the skin. After getting vaccinated, the body starts producing Anti Bodies. They destroy the virus of the disease attacking the body.

These vaccines contain bacteria, viruses, or microbes of that particular disease. Some other types of vaccines contain a chemically modified toxin. This toxin is produced by disease-causing germs. The third type of vaccine consists of live viruses, which are closely related to the virus causing the disease, but they now repel the attacking virus from outside as the body's army.

After getting any vaccine, fever or slight discomfort is felt in the body. There will be pain in the body and this pain is natural. Actually, when the bacteria of the vaccine go inside the body, there is a slight change, but after some time the vaccine starts working.

What is Antibody?

You must have heard about antibodies these days, but what is an antibody, and how does it work. The antibody is the element of the body, which is produced by our immune system to neutralize the virus present in the body.
