📝 What is UP TET 2026?

UP TET (Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) is a state‑level eligibility examination for candidates who want to become teachers in primary (Classes 1–5) or upper primary (Classes 6–8) schools in Uttar Pradesh. The UP TET 2026 notification and online application process have been released by the Uttar Pradesh Basic education Board (UPBEB) / Uttar Pradesh education service Selection Commission (UPESSC). The exam is scheduled for 2nd, 3rd & 4th July 2026.

📋 Before You Start – Documents & Details to Prepare

Before filling the form, keep the following ready:

✔ Active mobile number & email ID
Aadhar card or any valid photo ID (Voter ID, PAN, Passport)
Educational certificates (10th, 12th, Graduation mark sheets)
Passport‑data-size photo (recent)
Scanned signature
✔ Bank/debit/credit card or net‑banking for fee payment

🧑💻 Step‑by‑Step UP TET 2026 application Process

1 Visit the Official application Portal

Go to the official UP TET application website:

👉 uptet.upessc.org or upessc.up.gov.in (where the UPTET 2026 link is activated).

2 New Registration / OTR (One Time Registration)

Since UP TET 2026 uses an OTR system:

· Click “New Registration / OTR” (if you are a first‑time applicant).

· Enter your basic details: name, date of birth, mobile number, email.

· You will receive a registration number and OTP on your phone/email for verification.

If you already registered earlier, log in using your existing credentials.

3 Fill the UP TET application Form

Once registered and logged in:

✔ Enter personal details
✔ Fill contact information
✔ Select the paper you want to apply for –
Paper I – Primary Level (Class 1–5)
Paper II – Upper Primary (Class 6–8)
✔ Choose your exam centre preference
✔ Enter educational qualifications (as per notification)

4 Upload Photograph & Signature

Follow the upload specifications:

· Photograph: small passport data-size (usually JPG/JPEG)

· Signature: in clear format
Make sure images meet the data-size requirements as given in the notification.

5 Application Fee Payment

After uploading:

💳 Pay the application fee online (debit/credit/net‑banking) or via E‑Challan at bank (if available on site).
Fees are based on category (general, reserved, PwD etc).

Typical fee structure:

· General / OBC / EWS — approx. ₹600 (per Paper) or ₹1200 (both Papers)

· sc / st — approx. ₹400 / ₹800

· PwD — lower fee category (check notification)

6 Submit and Print Confirmation

✔ After fee payment, submit the application form.
✔ Take a printout of the confirmation page / filled form for future reference.

🛠 Correction Window (If Available)

Sometimes authorities allow a limited correction window after submission where you can fix mistakes like spelling errors, category, centre choice, etc. Always check the official site for dates if corrections are allowed.

✅ Fill the form early to avoid server overload “rush” near the deadline.
