The Haryana Public service Commission (HPSC) has officially opened the online registration window for the Haryana Civil services (HCS) Examination 2026, inviting eligible candidates to apply for 102 Civil service and allied posts under the state government.

A total of 102 vacancies have been announced for recruitment under the HCS Examination 2026. These include:

  • Haryana Civil service (Executive Branch)
  • Deputy Superintendent of police (DSP)
  • Excise & Taxation Officer (ETO)
  • District Food & Supplies Controller (DFSC)
  • Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies
  • Block Development and panchayat Officer (BDPO)
  • Tehsildar and other related allied services
Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the HPSC HCS 2026 exam:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
  • Age Limit:
    • Minimum age: 18 years
    • Maximum age: 42 years for most posts
    • For DSP posts: 27 years
    • Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories as per haryana government norms.
Selection Process

The HPSC HCS recruitment consists of three major stages:

Preliminary Examination – Objective‑type screening test.

Main Written Examination – Descriptive papers.

Personality Test / Interview – Final evaluation.

Candidates who qualify in each stage will be eligible for the next, and final selection will be based on cumulative performance across mains and interview.
