Big announcement for students amid CBSE board exams! 

Delhi Metro rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced to provide special facilities to the candidates during the CBSE Board Exam 2025, which started today (15 February), which has started from today and this facility will continue for the candidates till 4 april 2025. During this time, the candidates will be given the option to buy tickets and security checks etc. so that they can reach their examination centers on time.

Let us tell you that, 10th and 12th board examinations are being conducted today i.e. from 15 february to 4 april 2025. In which lakhs of students will participate. During this time, the candidates will mostly use metro services to reach the examination centers. Apart from them, thousands of school workers will also use metro services during this time, which will increase the crowd in delhi Metro. In view of this, DMRC has implemented special security and travel measures in collaboration with Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) to make travel smooth and hassle-free for students.

Students will get this special facility on showing the admit card of the exam

DMRC Principal Executive director Anuj Dayal said that many special steps have been taken by DMRC to provide a hassle-free travel experience to 3.30 lakh candidates appearing in the CBSE board examination. Dayal said that during the board examination, students will be given priority in frisking and ticketing on showing the admit card of CBSE board exam, so that they will not have to wait for their turn for ticket and security check by standing in long queues.

Apart from this, DMRC has coordinated with various schools and shared information about the nearest metro stations, which will facilitate students to reach their examination center. The list of metro stations located near the examination centers has also been made available on the official website of DMRC and DMRC Momentum delhi Sarathi 2.0 mobile app. Also, such posters have been put up in the school premises, in which QR code has been provided so that students can easily book tickets.
