We don't have the money to purchase the required green jumper, which costs between Rs 500 and Rs 700. My daughters have been stopped at the gate and made to take off their sweaters for the past three or four days.

She claimed that her daughters were not permitted to wear any other winter clothing because of the school. "I spoke to the authorities about allowing students to wear any warm clothing they have."After that, the parents and the school administration had a conversation, and they ultimately decided to let the pupils wear whatever winter attire they wanted.

The education Department sent out a circular in november telling schools not to require their winter uniforms to have a certain sweater colour or design.
