Highest-ever US student visas issued to Indian students in 2022
According to the US Embassy in india, the US issued a record 82,000 student visas to indians in 2022, more than any other nation. According to the Open Doors report from 2021, there were 1,67,582 indian students in the 2020–2021 academic year, making up roughly 20% of all international students studying in the United States.

"I hope there are a lot of content parents and kids out there. US diplomacy places a high priority on international student mobility, and nowhere is this more true than in india "said he. In order to ensure that as many qualified students as possible arrived at their programmes of study in time for the scheduled start dates, the US embassy in New delhi and the consulates in Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and mumbai prioritised the processing of student visa applications from May to August, according to the embassy statement.
