UPSC prilims exam date released
U P S C conducts civil service exams every year to select I A S, I P S, I R S and many central service officers along with central government jobs. Due to corona pandemic, the exam scheduled on 31st may got postponed. Due to lockdown rules applied differently in different states, the candidates can see it difficult to reach the exam hall and attempt the exam. So, U P S C decided to postpone the exam and told the new exam date will be declared on May 17th.
No news came out till yesterday. Now, U P S C decided to conduct I A S prelims exam on october 4th. Few candidates who cleared prelims and appeared for mains have cleared both the exams are qualified for personality test. So, this interview date is also postponing. Every year, interviews takes place in the month of february to april but now, this is postponing to July 20. amit strict lockdown and containment and red zones presence in india, it finds tough for the candidates to break the rules. On the other side, N D A, N A (1), N D A, N A(2) are together scheduled on september 6th.
