Daily cases of corona virus in the country have increased almost two and a half times from 1249 to cross 3,000 within just 7 days. During the last 24 hours on Thursday, 3016 corona patients were registered in the country. This is the first time in about six months, when the daily Covid case figure has crossed 3,000. The last time 3,375 daily cases were registered on october 1, 2023. The most concern has been raised by kerala and maharashtra, where the daily Kovid case figures are more than double as compared to the rest of the states. In such a situation, the question is arising whether the fourth wave is going to come in the country only because of kerala and Maharashtra.

6 states most affected in 3,000 cases

Most of the 3,016 cases found in the country have come from six states of the country. In these six states, 77% of the total daily cases of the country have been registered. In these states too, kerala, maharashtra and gujarat have more than 50% cases. kerala has seen the most new cases, with 686; maharashtra, 483, gujarat, 300; Delhi, 255; Himachal; and Karnataka, 215.
