Opinion: India is Shining But Stinking
In addition, the indian government has organised and streamlined its economic structure. Due to the widespread use of online payment systems like PayTm, PhonePe, and GooglePay, black money is significantly reduced and currency is swapped between banks. That's a fantastic start to a healthier economy. Even in other industrialised countries, there is not this widespread aggressive use of online payment options. In addition, the GST system is significantly boosting India's economy. With some clever plans in place, everyone will undoubtedly accept this method.
Putting all of this brilliance aside, we must talk about how bad the country is. In many states, the political system and the politicians are completely corrupt. While prime minister Narendra Modi's competent and persistent leadership has rendered his cadre and ministers corruption-free, other states, like Telangana, are rife with corruption and the purchasing of votes by tempting the regular people with cash and gold. It is disheartening to learn that voters in Munugode can cast their ballots for a party in exchange for 10 grammes of gold. The terrible situation in the by-election for this constituency involves the distribution of money to the tune of Rs 30000 to Rs 60000 per vote.
This situation is by far the worst. Such scenes reflect poorly on the nation, regardless of the parties involved or the candidates. Nobody can ever forget the image of the police raiding a rural residence where the MLAs were apprehended before being sold to a third party for Rs 100 Cr apiece.
In addition to this, the governmental system's corruption is causing a number of land kabjas, which are causing the general populace problems. By slamming into the Sub Registrar Offices, the local MLAs have illegally taken over the land of middle class residents on the outskirts of cities. By seizing their property and eventually preventing them from being able to go to court and fight, the crooked politicians are harming the middle class citizens. Here, every system is interconnected and tainted. This needs to be altered.
In conclusion, India's economy is booming but its political situation is terrible. The system needs effective percolation, and only the proper leader can make it happen. In actuality, it is up to the people to choose the best leader. As long as people continue to be seduced by money, nothing improves and only gets worse.
