Diwali: These states have Banned Firecrackers...


Tomorrow is Diwali. If you are preparing to buy firecrackers or are planning to burn firecrackers, then first of all know that the burning of crackers is not banned in your state. Every time after diwali, the level of pollution increases significantly by burning crackers. This creates many kinds of problems. Keeping these things in mind, firecrackers have been banned. There is a complete ban on firecrackers in few states. Somewhere only green crackers will be lit and somewhere this time only diwali will be celebrated by lighting diyas. 

Delhi

The delhi government has banned all kind of fireworks from diwali to New Year. There is a complete ban on the sale and purchase of firecrackers in delhi till january 1, 2023. Not only this, there will be jail and fine will also be imposed for doing so. Anyone who burns firecrackers can be jailed for 6 months, then selling or storing firecrackers can be jailed for 3 years.

Haryana

In Haryana, crackers can be burst, but only green firecrackers can be used here. There is a ban on the sale and use of any type of firecrackers other than green firecrackers in Haryana.

Punjab

Only 2 hours have been given to burst crackers in Punjab. On christmas and New Year's too, bursting of firecrackers is allowed here only for some time. 

West Bengal

In West bengal also only green crackers are allowed. Apart from this, there will be no import and sale of any kind of firecrackers. Action will be taken against those who do so as per law.
