
DGCA has banned 50%of SpiceJet?...
SpiceJet is constantly wreaking havoc. Recently, aviation regulator DGCA had issued a show cause notice to SpiceJet due to complaints of frequent technical glitches. Now DGCA has restricted the number of departures of SpiceJet to 50 per cent of the number of departures allowed under Summer Schedule 2022 for 8 weeks from the date of issue of this order in view of various spot checks, inspections and response to show cause notices submitted by SpiceJet. That is, till now SpiceJet does not completely solve the technical problem of its flight, then DGCA will keep monitoring them. DGCA has banned 50% of SpiceJet flights for 8 weeks.
SpiceJet's statementA spokesman for SpiceJet stated: We have received the order from the DGAC and will be working as directed by the regulatory body. SpiceJet, like other airlines, had already rescheduled its flight operations in view of low travel at present. So it's not going to have any impact at all on our air operations. No flights will be cancelled in response to this order. We will continue to work under the guidance of the regulator." That is, SpiceJet will keep the flights smooth considering the convenience of the passengers.
