A high-speed railway known as the Bullet train is reported to be capable of reaching speeds of 320 kilometres per hour. In India, around 20 rail services are now in operation, including passenger trains, high-speed trains, Duronto, Rajdhani, Sambarkranti, Tejas, and Vande Bharat. The Vande Bharat Express train service has a top speed of 200 kmph. This train runs between delhi and varanasi at the moment.

In this backdrop, the central government has announced the launch of the Bullet train, a high-speed train service that would connect the country's major cities. Between mumbai and Ahmedabad, the first phase is being implemented. The National High Speed rail Corporation was formed to carry out this project, and construction is moving forward quickly.

The so-called bullet train has a top speed of 320 kilometres per hour. This indicates that the train is designed to go 508 kilometres in three hours.
