A medical student who returned from ukraine to shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh told that she was getting scared by the sound of sirens and had given up hope of coming back to her country. Anshika, who studied MBBS living in Vinnytsia city of ukraine, said that she had given up hope that she would now be able to come back to her country, India, to hug her parents because the situation was so complicated that with the children living there were sharing each other's pain by tying each other up.
Anshika says that on 26 february she left Vinnytsia with a group of 50 children from Chernivtsi and reached there at night after traveling for 10 hours. She told that after this, after walking six kilometers in the night itself, this group of children walked towards the data-border of Romania, she told that there was an atmosphere of fear throughout the night and the sound of firing was terrifying the children.
Anshika says that we were tired after reaching the data-border, but the officers standing there were first getting the children from Ternofil and Ivano (city of Ukraine) to cross the data-border. She said that in the meantime the children were made to stand in a row, only then the children fell in the blow from behind, in which a girl was also injured. She told that during this time the Romanian army standing on the other side of the data-border started firing in the air.
