The 2022 Henley Passport Index puts japan and singapore passport holders able to travel to approximately 192 countries without a visa. Thus japan and singapore are the countries with the most powerful passports in the world. But What about india then..? In the first quarter of 2022, india upgraded its passport rating from 90th in 2021 to 83rd in the first quarter of 2022, up 7 places.
By 2021, only 58 countries had the facility to obtain an On Arrival visa without obtaining an indian passport in advance. Currently, oman and armenia have been added to the list, which has now moved up to 83rd place with the status of being able to travel to 60 countries without a visa. japan and singapore rank first in 192 countries,
while germany and south korea rank second with 190 countries. Finland, Italy, Luxembourg, and spain are in 3rd place with 189 countries, Austria, Denmark, France, Netherlands, and sweden are in 4th place with 188 countries and ireland and portugal are in 5th place with 187 countries. The superpowers the united states and the united kingdom are ranked 6th in the 2022 Henley Passport Index with 186 countries. The united states and britain share the same 6th place with Belgium, New Zealand, Norway, and Switzerland.
The 2022 Henley Passport Index examines the passport validity of about 199 countries and publishes this list. It is noteworthy that afghanistan ranks last on this list. afghanistan ranks 104th, north korea (39 countries only) ranks 105th, Nepal, and palestine (37 countries only) ranks 106th, somalia (34 countries only) ranks 107th, yemen (33 countries only) ranks 108th, pakistan (31 countries only) ranks 109th. (29 countries only) 110th iraq (28 countries only) 111th afghanistan (26 countries only).
