Meet dentist, teacher & Counselor in an IPS officer.


When a person passes one of India's most challenging tests, the Union Public service Commission exam(UPSC), and becomes an IAS or IPS official, it is nothing short of a dream. people enter the public service because they want to help others. In actuality, just a few people work for the same thing, and Pritpal Kaur is one of them. Pritpal Kaur, an IPS officer, works discreetly to improve the lives of those living in India's remote districts.
Pritpal, an IPS officer from the 2016 batch, not only provides free civil services test preparation to deserving youngsters. She also provides counselling to drug users and their families. Aside from that, as a dentist, she assists locals in quitting smoking.


Pritpal Kaur worked as a dentist in hyderabad before joining the IPS. She served at Nagaland's Tuensang district after passing the civil service exam in 2016. She decided to reach out to students studying for the UPSC using social media to assist them. She then began taking lessons with a group of police officers and civil servants.
This year, seven students who were coached by her passed the prelims of the state civil service test. She turned the district's SP office's conference room into a classroom. Her class has around 30 students, some of them are working people who come to class from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. Some officers from the state civil service and medics from the assam Rifles are among the teachers. Their lessons began just a few weeks ago.
Pritpal uses a portion of her earnings to purchase the books that she distributes to hopefuls. students are also provided study materials and are required to take exams regularly. These applicants are now prepared for the Civil services Exam, as well as departmental exams at the SSC, CAPF, Bank, and state level.
