Drug department raid, medicines worth Rs 25 lakh seized…

In Uttar Pradesh's hapur district, the team of the Drug Department took a major action and sealed medicines worth about Rs 25 lakh. The team has sent samples of medicines to the laboratory for testing and has taken one accused into custody from the spot. It is being told that during this action, a joint team of Central drugs Standard Control Organization and ghaziabad was also involved. It was told that this factory was being operated without a license.

Drug Inspector hapur Hitendra Chaudhary said that a joint team of CDSCO delhi and ghaziabad raided Rustam industries located at Textile Center in Pilkhuwa, Hapur. Here the team has first taken the operator ajay Sharma into custody. During the raid, the team recovered a large consignment of medicines from the spot. The team took action here and sealed two blast and two strip machines. No license of any kind was found from the operator on the spot.

The factory was running without a license

It is being told that during the raid, medicines were being packed in the factory. Apart from anti-biotic medicines for fever and body pain, paracetamol medicines have been found here. The team has taken samples of some medicines and sent them for testing. Giving information in this regard, drug inspector Hitendra Chaudhary said that a raid has been conducted at Rustam industries located at the Textile Center in Pilkhuwa, Hapur. This factory was being operated without a license. The team has seized medicines worth about Rs 25 lakh. One accused has been arrested and sent to jail. Also, further action is being taken in this matter.
