faridabad police of haryana has solved the case of murder of a 12th class student who was shot dead after chasing his car on the highway on 23 August. police said that five accused, who are members of the cow protection group, have been arrested in this connection. faridabad police Commissioner OP Narwal said that the accused revealed that the 12th class student was chased in a car and killed mistaking him to be a cow smuggler. According to OP Narwal, the arrested accused has been identified as Saurabh, Anil Kaushik, Varun, krishna and Adesh.

The accused confessed to the crime

The police Commissioner also said that the arrested accused have confessed that mistaking the victim aryan Mishra and his friends Shanky and Harshit to be cow smugglers, they chased their car for about 30 kilometers near Garhpuri toll on Delhi-Agra National Highway. police said that all the accused have been sent to judicial custody after being produced in the city court.

Informer had given information

According to the police, during interrogation of the accused, it was revealed that on the night of august 23, they had received information from an informer that some cow smugglers riding in Duster and Fortuner cars were doing recce in the city. Also, wherever they find animals, they ask for containers and take them away. The arrested accused were looking for animal smugglers riding in a car. During this time, they saw a Duster car at patel Chowk. The accused asked the car driver to stop. But the speed of the car increased. police said that due to this apprehension, the accused opened fire on aryan Mishra near Gadpuri toll in Palwal and killed him.

Illegal weapons and car recovered

faridabad police Commissioner OP Narwal said that illegal weapons and car used in the crime have been recovered from the accused. All the accused have been sent to jail and further investigation is going on.
