Yesterday, the people in the house went out, leaving him alone in the room with the AC turned on and sleeping. The neighbors were shocked to see this and immediately informed the police and fire department.
Firefighters who rushed to the spot fought for a long time and brought the fire under control. Later, when he went inside, suresh Kumar was found dead in the charred state of the fire. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. They are probing whether the fire occurred due to electrical leakage in the AC.
