In a recent report in the state of Telangana, hyderabad an incident took place. Former councillor Repala Lilavathi (55) died of a heart attack in Hyderabad. But her husband Kantha Rao had different plans after her death. He framed his wives death as an accident and brought her body to jaggayyapeta for claiming insurance. Kantha Rao then registered a complaint that a car accident took place at Sher Mohammad Peta Cross Road resulting in his wives death.
However, police suspected some loose ends in the complaint and went on for an investigation. Later they found out that Lilavathi demise was due to a heart attack and the accident was not the cause. The body was sent to Jaggayyapeta's government hospital for postmortem. police filed a complaint as a suspicious death and also arrested Kantha Rao.
