Ingredients Needed

  • Mixed fruits (apple, banana, grapes, or seasonal fruits)
  • Sugar or jaggery
  • Ghee
  • Cardamom powder
  • Cornflour (optional, for thickness)
  • Cashews and raisins (for garnish)
Preparation Method

1. Prepare the fruit Mixture

Chop all the fruits finely and mash them lightly to form a pulp-like consistency.

2. Cook the Base

Heat a pan and add a small amount of ghee. Add the fruit mixture and cook on a low flame until it softens.

3. Add Sweetener

Mix sugar or jaggery as per taste. Stir continuously so that it blends well with the fruit mixture.

4. Thicken the Halwa

If needed, dissolve a little cornflour in water and add it to the mixture to get a thick halwa texture.

5. Flavor It

Add cardamom powder for aroma and flavor. Continue stirring until the mixture becomes glossy and thick.

6. Garnish

Fry cashews and raisins in ghee and add them on top for extra taste and crunch.
