Ingredients:· 1 cup fresh
coriander leaves (cilantro), tightly packed· 1/2 cup fresh
mint leaves (optional, but adds freshness)· 2-3
green chilies (adjust to spice preference)· 1-inch piece of
ginger, peeled and chopped· 2 tbsp
lemon juice (freshly squeezed)· 1 tsp
cumin seeds or roasted cumin powder· 1 tsp
chaat masala (optional for tangy flavor)· salt to taste· 1-2 tbsp
water (adjust for desired consistency)
Instructions:1.
Wash the Greens: Rinse coriander and mint leaves thoroughly to remove dirt.2.
Blend the Ingredients:o In a blender or food processor, add coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies, ginger, cumin seeds, salt, and lemon juice.o Add about 1-2 tablespoons of water to help with blending.o Blend until smooth. Add water little by little to reach your preferred chutney consistency.3.
Taste and Adjust:o Check salt and lemon juice. Add more if needed.o If you like it tangier, add more lemon juice.o For extra spice, add another green chili.4.
Serve or Store:o Use immediately with your favorite snacks.o Store leftover chutney in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.
