Due to heatwave, milk production may decrease...After the completion of the lok sabha elections, both Amul and Mother Dairy have increased the prices of milk. After the increase in milk prices, common people are going to get a big shock of inflation. The effect of expensive milk will not be limited to the prices of milk only, but due to this, the prices of all the things made from milk are bound to increase. But the increase in milk prices is not going to stop here. Rather, due to the heat and heat waves being seen in many states of the country, milk production may be affected, due to which milk prices may increase further.Milk production may decreaseMother Dairy also said in its statement regarding the increase in milk prices that for the last several months, higher prices were being given for the procurement of milk, but the burden of this was not put on the consumers. Apart from this, tremendous heatwaves are being seen in the whole country, due to which there may be a decline in milk production. Mother Dairy said that keeping in mind the interests of milk producers and consumers, prices have been increased by only 3 to 4 percent.Mother Dairy - Amul increased pricesOn Sunday, theGujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which sells milk and dairy products under the name of the Amul brand, also announced an increase the price of milk by Rs 2 per liter across the country. GCMMF said in its statement, thatdue to increase in operation cost and cost of milk production, it has been decided to increase the price of milk. Also, after reviewing the prices, producers will be able to get higher prices and it will also help in increasing milk production. The Federation said it has increased the price of milk for the first time after february 2023.
