It is learned that the indian Railways' irctc operates special trains for tourists from time to time and these trains provide access to many destinations across India. In this context, the irctc has announced for the first time the 'Bharat Gaurav' train crossing the international data-border.
The train will travel beyond india to nepal and travelers can explore many important parts of india and Nepal. irctc 'Bharat Gaurav' is set to become the first tourist train from india to cross the international data-border into neighboring Nepal. The irctc has announced that the train will leave for nepal as part of the Ramayana yatra circuit.
Departing from New delhi on june 21, the train will travel to Ram-related places in nepal such as Dhanusha Pahar, Pawan Bika Kshetra, Maa Janki Janmashtami Mandir, and Sri ram Viva Stal. Apart from traveling to nepal, the 'Bharat Gaurav' tourist train connects many indian states on the Ramayana circuit. Under the Swadesh Darshan Scheme of the Ministry of Tourism, this special train will run to reach the shrines associated with Rama.
This train connects Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and telangana to Ayodhya, Buxar, Janakpur, Sitamarhi, Kashi, Prayag, Chitrakoot, Nashik, Hampi, Rameswaram, Kanchipuram, and Bhadrachalam.
The Ministry of External Affairs has made arrangements to get the approval of the Agency for the government of nepal to launch and operate the 'Bharat Gaurav' Tourist train on june 23.
From india to nepal, india has once received permission from the government of nepal for this train, which includes important shrines associated with the life of Lord Rama. The Ministry of External Affairs of the government of nepal has stated in its letter that it will grant permission for the train to the indian Embassy in Kathmandu.
The train can carry a maximum of 600 passengers and costs around Rs 65,000 per person to travel around india and Nepal.
