HDFC
bank - Before making a critical decision on HDFC's merger, President
deepak Parekh revealed he went two nights without sleeping. The Board of Directors has authorised the merger of
hdfc bank and its subsidiaries with
hdfc Bank. The merger will be completed in the second or third quarter of fiscal 2024 and this
news has shocked and surprised most of the
customers who are in HDFC.
HDFC's 25 shares are combined with
hdfc Bank's 42 shares to become
hdfc Bank.
hdfc President
deepak Barek commented on this, saying, "I spent two sleepless nights before making such a major decision." The housing financing organisation has lent money to 90 lakh homes over the last 45 years. However, we needed to find a
home like that. We discovered it in our own family and bank. It's all in good humour.
Due to the implementation of RERA, infrastructure for the housing sector, and
government initiatives such as affordable housing for all, we
believe the housing finance
business is poised to grow exponentially. The
home loan
industry will continue to expand. The pace of loan expansion will be accelerated as a result of our company's merger. Following the merger, public shareholders will own 100 percent of
hdfc Bank.
hdfc bank will be 41% owned by
hdfc Limited's current shareholders.
