Your Petrol Bill is About to Explode Because America Won’t Let India Buy Cheap Oil From Russia & Iran

SIBY JEYYA
While you’re paying through the nose for fuel and cooking gas, major powers are openly playing geopolitical chess with India’s energy lifeline – and Washington wants to be the referee, player, and bouncer all at once.

Russia is ready to supply us with discounted crude and gas. iran too. venezuela has stepped up with heavy grades perfect for our refineries. Yet india is forced to grovel for temporary US waivers that just expired on May 16. No renewal so far. Meanwhile, china laughs in America’s data-face, keeps importing Iranian oil on a massive scale, and actively supports iran even as tensions boil. trump himself admitted he has “no problem” with china buying from Iran. The double standard is glaring – and insulting.

Here’s the savage truth:

- **Energy security isn’t charity** — it’s survival. india imports nearly 90% of its oil. We buy where it’s cheap, reliable, and suits our refineries.

- **Russia has been a lifesaver** during the Strait of Hormuz disruptions. Record imports helped keep prices from spiraling even higher.

- **China doesn’t wait for permission** — they do what’s in their national interest. Why should india behave like a junior partner?

- **The emerging bloc** — America, Israel, and the uae — wants us locked into their preferred suppliers. But friendship cannot mean surrendering strategic autonomy.

- **Who is America to dictate** our purchases from Russia, iran, or Venezuela? Our requirements, our economy, our people come first.

This isn’t about being anti-American. It’s about being pro-India. In a multipolar world, New delhi must pursue ruthless pragmatism — buy from whoever offers the best deal. No more asking for permission to fill our own tanks. The era of outsourced energy policy is over. India’s rise demands we stop begging and start deciding.
