Christians Aren’t Stupid: Vijay’s Desperate Church Stunt Hides Years of Cowardly Silence While Churches Burned

SIBY JEYYA
Look, Mr. Vijay, let’s cut the sanctimonious crap. Posing for a photo-op inside a church three days before elections doesn’t suddenly make Christians trust you. It just reminds us how cheap political theatre has become.

You launched your party barely two years ago. In all that time, have you uttered a single word against the bjp on behalf of Christians? Not one fiery press conference, not one viral video, not one tweet calling out the violence. Crickets.

Where exactly were you when churches were torched, when priests and nuns were dragged into police stations on cooked-up charges, and when hooligans stormed christmas and easter masses to create chaos? You weren’t on the ground. You weren’t on TV. You weren’t even on social media pretending to care. You were conveniently invisible.

And when the bjp rammed through that draconian FCRA Amendment Act — the one designed to starve Christian missionaries, seize their properties, and kill their work in one legal stroke — you stayed silent. What stopped you? Fear of losing a few votes? A backroom deal? Or the cold calculation that Christian anger didn’t matter until election season?

Now here you are, bible in one hand, camera in the other, pretending you’ve always stood with us. It’s the oldest betrayal in the book — exactly like Judas in the Garden of Gethsemane. A kiss that looks like affection but reeks of treachery.

Christians have read Matthew 24:11: “And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.” We know one when we see him. This time, the flock isn’t falling for the act.
