Over 90,000 Beneficiaries Through Chief Minister’s Pharmacies in 2025–26

 The people of Dindigul district have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the DMK-led tamil Nadu government for the successful implementation of the Chief Minister’s Pharmacy Scheme, which has significantly improved access to affordable medicines.

Wide Reach of government Pharmacies

In the financial year 2025–26, a total of 31 Chief Minister’s pharmacies have been functioning across Dindigul district. These pharmacies were established with the aim of providing high-quality medicines at subsidized rates, especially benefiting economically weaker sections.

Impressive Beneficiary Count

According to official data, more than 90,000 people have benefited from these pharmacies over the past year. Patients suffering from chronic illnesses, senior citizens, and low-income families have been the major beneficiaries of this initiative.

Significant Sales and Public Response

The total sales recorded through these pharmacies in the district have reached approximately 63 lakh, reflecting both the demand for affordable medicines and the trust people have in the scheme.

Residents have appreciated the availability of essential medicines at lower prices compared to private medical stores, which has helped reduce their financial burden on healthcare.

The people of Dindigul district have conveyed their appreciation to the tamil Nadu government, led by the DMK, for introducing and effectively implementing this welfare initiative. Many locals stated that the scheme has brought real relief to households struggling with rising medical expenses.
