Vijay’s Illegal Road Show Just Ignored Election Rules – Will EC Finally Wake Up?

SIBY JEYYA

This isn’t just about a late arrival or a political stunt—it’s about a pattern that’s raising serious questions. When rules are clearly laid out and still openly ignored, what message does that send? More importantly, who’s supposed to step in—and why haven’t they?

First, despite clear instructions from the tamil Nadu election Commission, Vijay didn’t show up on time for a scheduled meeting. That alone might seem minor—but in election season, discipline and adherence to protocol aren’t optional; they’re fundamental.

Second, and far more concerning, is the roadshow. Authorities had already made it clear: no roadshows. Yet, it happened anyway. Not quietly, not accidentally—but openly. So the obvious question arises—if rules are enforced for everyone else, why does this look like an exception?

Third, the silence. Where is the response from the tamil Nadu election Commission? Where is the intervention from the Chief election Commission? When violations happen in plain sight, and there’s no immediate action, it doesn’t just look like oversight—it starts to feel like selective enforcement.

And then comes the most serious concern—public safety. Large gatherings, uncontrolled movement, emotional crowds—these are not harmless. We’ve seen how quickly things can spiral. If something goes wrong—if lives are lost—who takes responsibility? Is accountability just a word we throw around after tragedy strikes?

This isn’t about targeting one individual. It’s about fairness, consistency, and responsibility. If the system bends for one, it weakens for all.

So the question remains—who’s really in charge here? And more importantly… who’s willing to act before it’s too late?
